What it covers state?
Manufacturing of the prosthesis, its maintenance, repair and replacement during the entire service life.
For the military, the compensation is much higher, up to UAH 4.3 million.
Stages of receipt:
01 Step
Submit documents
Through the electronic cabinet of a person with a disability, the ASC, or the social protection centre. If you are still in hospital, you can contact a social worker or a doctor, they will organise the procedure.
02 Step
Get a referral
After submission, the referral will appear in the electronic cabinet. It allows you to choose a prosthetic company.
03 Step
Submit documents
The list of accredited enterprises is available from the Ministry of Social Policy or through the ASC.
04 Step
Submission of a declaration of intent
Through an online account or in paper form, in person at the chosen enterprise.
05 Step
Manufacturing and delivery of the prosthesis
After the fitting, we sign the documents, receive the prosthesis, operating instructions and a warranty card.
06 Step
Timing.
In simple cases, it takes about 3 weeks. The maximum period is up to 3 months.
